about me
Hi, I’m Leah. My path into holistic wellness grew out of both study and lived experience. With education in Psychology from Mid-Continental University, Holistic Nutrition from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, and Herbalism from the Chestnut School of Herbalism, I’ve come to see healing as something deeply personal, layered, and ever-evolving.
Like many, I’ve faced challenges that reshaped the way I relate to my body, mind, and spirit. Those seasons taught me the importance of patience, compassion, and listening inward. They showed me that wellness isn’t about perfection, it’s about small, intentional practices that help us return to ourselves.
I’ve deepened my work through professional certifications in trauma-informed yoga, 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) training, Reiki 101 and 201, mushroom identification, and clinical mentoring, blending traditional wisdom with accessible, modern practices. My approach is rooted in inclusivity and offers spaces where all bodies and identities feel seen, honored, and supported.
In 2020, I founded Mycelia, an herbal tea company born from a love of plants, wellness, and the belief that everyone deserves access to tools that support their health. I source high-quality, organic herbs directly from trusted farmers and craft blends designed to meet real, everyday needs. I also guide clients personally, helping them bring these plant allies into their daily lives in ways that feel practical, nurturing, and empowering. I’ve cultivated both a physical space and a vibrant community, guiding a team, overseeing operations, and designing workshops and programs that celebrate and support LGBTQ+ and artistic communities. Through this work, I’ve seen firsthand how plants, knowledge, and intention can create spaces where people feel seen, supported, and capable of thriving.
Through workshops, classes, and one-on-one sessions, I support people of all ages in cultivating calm, restoring balance, and building inner strength. I also offer astrological herb birth chart readings, combining the insights of your unique chart with herbal recommendations and practices to nourish your everyday life.
At the heart of it all, my work is about walking alongside you not to prescribe, but to co-create. To help you find tools that fit your rhythms, your needs, and your version of wholeness. Wellness is not a destination, but a gentle practice, one that belongs fully to you.
